A singer/songwriter, an artist, an educator, a youth counselor, a mentor; the many hats of Pariah85 exhibit just how multifaceted she is. Fueled by a passion to better understand the human condition, her lyrics often reflect relational dynamics, the emotional effects of falling in love, the desire to communicate effectively, and how human beings can better understand each other through connectivity. An impassioned learner and observer, Pariah85 is continuously inspired through the things she hears, sees, feels, and learns.

 

As a local up-and-coming artist, Pariah85 has collaborated and performed with other local artist and bands such as The Voyage Band, N-Tune, Sun7life, phoenixthehuebian, Shaun Ward and others. She has also written for artist signed to local record label Trill Entertainment, a hometown phenomenon.

Pariah85’s musical influences can be heard throughout her unique sound, which often blends R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop, Rock, and ambient music. She is heavily influenced by female artists who have helped shape the sound, aesthetic, and business of today’s music industry. One of Pariah85’s main objectives is to bring R&B music to prominence in her home town of Baton Rouge, LA. She also wants to help the at-risk youth in the community hone their artistic talents and see the value in their education. ​
